Esther is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nelson; daughters, Janice Shisler (John), Carol Romero-Clark (Bob), and Melody Peters (Mark); granddaughters, Meagan, Madison and Mackenzie; grandson, Zachery; brother, Alfonso (Mary); sister, Dila; special sisters-in-law, Mary Garcia and Patsy Roybal; and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Esther was preceded in death by her father, Alberto; mother, Amanda; brothers, Lee, Roger, Arturo, Leroy and sister Edna. He is preceded in death by his parents Pantaleon and Sabinita Herrera; fianc of 7 years Anita Gonzales; siblings Johnny, Edna, James, Ruby, Linda, Mary and Jimmy Herrera; nephews Anthony and Marvin Martinez, Alex Romero and James Cordova; Uncle Edwardo Trujillo. She was 87. She was instrumental in creating and operating the Sacred Heart Church Bingo where she was the Manager for 30+ years. Special friends Steven Peshlakai, Brandon Narcia and Debra Denis.
She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She also had a passion for protecting animals. She dedicated her time to helping people she loved and cared about.
